I feel content tonight
After I talked to people going to see the inauguration today. After I saw the people in D.C. on TV, after they gave a blow-by-blow account of what will happen tomorrow, and talked about Dick Cheney removing his boxes and the * staff having their access cards turned off at midnight, I suddenly realized it... really, really realized it.

I took a long soaking bubble bath, leaned my head back against the tub, and just thought about how lucky we are to have our country back. Yes, it might be in shambles. Yes, it's going to take a hell of a lot of work to try to turn things around. But for now the nation celebrates... the world celebrates.

It's really happening!!
