Can we ever forgive Elton John? |

You're right. He should still suffer.

"Bennie and the Jets" gets him a lifetime pass for whatever he's allegedly done. In my book anyway.

I have an older brother named Daniel. Never sang a song to him, but when I hear "Daniel my brother you are older than me," it's a little hard to not think of Danny. And while Danny never went to Viet Nam, I was always afraid he would, which shaped my opinion of war, probably. So I like it.
Never had a song called "Joby." The closest was "Hey, Joe," and it's hard to escape that one when people call me Joe. I once had a cop, also named Joe, recite the first lines of that song to me, in a hotel lobby. Scared the crap out of a few people who overheard, who had no idea why a uniformed officer would be saying "Hey, Joe, where you going with that gun in your hand?" Especially when I followed with the appropriate response. I saw a couple of people blanche and look for cover. :)

Now, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," for instance, is something I can do without.

Elton John can be forgiven for his horrible taste in fashion, and obvious weave, because he is a great artist.
I wonder if he will be coming out with another album anytime soon?

Osama bin Laden frightens me. Elton John is merely amusing. To actually hate someone you've never met personally is a waste of valuable time and oxygen.

Otherwise, he wouldn't own a home here, or even visit.
He's just exercising our valuable and coveted First Amendment right of free speech.
Which, in layman's terms, gives everyone the right to speak out and make him or herself look like an imbecile.
