Cummulonimbus with mannatus cloud formations are indicators of very nasty weather on the way, including tornadoes. See those, especially if they're yellow or orange in color, and it's time to haul it to the nearest shelter.

14. EXACTLY. I grew up in Oklahoma (mostly) and lived almost 15 years in Nebraska, and yellow light

was the single greatest predicter of really, really threatening weather. In a decade of living in Europe, I've NEVER been able to successfully describe this "yellow light" to any native European. They/we just don't have it here. :shrug:
