Police cite buggy driver with DUI

December 31, 2008 NEW WILMINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mercer County-- A 19-year old Amish man faces DUI charges after an accident between his horse drawn buggy and a car on Sunday along the Pulaski-Mercer Road. The accident killed the horse. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries. He was treated and released at a local hospital New Wilmington police say the 19-year old is accused of driving under the influence charges and underage drinking. Police say Joseph W. Byler faces a preliminary hearing on February 2.
