Question about changing my avatar

I want to change my avatar from the one I created but it is not working. When I upload a new image it seems to work but it is still the same. How do I delete my old image so I can upload a new one?

1. Click on Options in the top of the screen.

Then click on Edit Your Profile
Click on Upload
After it uploads, copy the last part of the url for the picture.

It will look something like this:
personal/149216.jpg

or this:
personal/149216.gif

Put that ^ in the text box next to Avatar Image, then scroll down and save your changes.
