1. I had that salad for lunch! Supper was just grilled cheese and tomato soup, though.

2. Pastrami on rye
rye, pastrami, swiss, grilled. Then a splash of Russian Dressing.

Un-sweetened iced tea and now going to movie number 2.

I'll be eating bbq chips during that one. I'm hiding in movies this eve. I recommend "Happy Endings" with the ditzy lady from Friends in it.

7. yep, and it is a delightful light red. Darker than a rose or white zin; good at
room temp or chilled. This was just a low cost Beringer but there are varying degrees of expensive just as in other varietals. Very nice with pork.

9. It is simple. I did a quick marinade with the chicken.
Edited on Wed Jan-28-09 09:23 AM by FedUpWithIt All
Lemon, sea salt, fresh pepper, lemon juice and basil, oregano and thyme.

I cut up some artichoke hearts, asparagus, peas, tomatoes and lightly oiled and salted it all. I then placed the veggies in the center of a sheet of parchment and placed the chicken tenderloins over the top. You fold the top of the parchment down over the chicken and veggies and then simply twist the sides.

Place on baking sheet being careful to leave some room between packets. I cooked it on 400 for about 24 minutes. It was quite good. The chicken steams so it comes out very tender.

:hi:

edited to add that this is very good with a side of garlic cous cous. I cook it per the box instructions replacing half the water with chicken broth. Once the cous cous is done cooking i sprinkle in some feta, sliced mushrooms, and diced tomatoes. Stir well. Very delicious.
