25. Mariah Carey is mostly Caucasian, so I don't know if she qualifies.
I thought she was 100% African American when I first heard her. I also thought she was a big woman like the incomparable 'Retha. (It was sometime before I saw a picture.)

Whatever the commercialism of Carey, she does have a great and powerful voice, not well used maybe, but still very, very good.
