Is there such a thing as overnight dementia? |

A friend's mom was hospitalised last week. She is 66 years old. She became confused and paranoid during the day. They took her to the doc and he had her admitted. So far no diagnosis.

it's not usually just dementia so much as strokes or mini-strokes causing the dimentia. my grandfather suffered from vascular dementia brought on by small strokes. i think mini-strokes can also be called transient ischemic attacks.
