If You Don't See This Movie, Then You Are A DU Disgrace

Now, I understand that in these times, you may not be able to afford to see it in the theaters. However, that's no excuse. It will be available on DVD in the summer, and more than likely, it will be available in your local libraries and on regular TV.

I don't care how you watch it, just do it. This movie serves as a model for what we want and should be doing here.

I thought that the movie was going to be another bio-pic, but it's so much more. It's an inspiration and a blueprint for community action.

we will NEVER see this film showing in a theater, unless it wins Best Picture. (And maybe not even in that case).

We didn't even get Brokeback Mountain here.

But I'm buying it the second it comes out on DVD. I am a huge Sean Penn fan. He's one of the most fearless actors ever.

3. You Will Be Blown Away By Sean Penn
The night before I saw this movie I saw him interviewed by Tavis Smiley, and then I saw this movie. With no makeup at all, it was like he became a entirely different person.

You know that you are watching a great actor when they can literally transform themselves without makeup.

5. I just watched the documentary, "The Times of Harvey Milk".
I got it from Netflix. It won Best Doc Oscar in 1984 and it's great. There is so much movie material in that story I'm sure "Milk" is terrific. I can't wait to see it.
