Incoming Cell Calls That Don't Ring the Phone!! Do you get these? |
|
I have been getting calls that do nothing but *beep* as a missed call. The phone never rings at all. The caller in these cases is always "unavailable."
Do you get these calls?

2. Sometimes. I've also had occassionally a missed phone call not show up for two days |
|
That's happened a couple times.
I'll look at the phone, see I have a voicemail - listen to it, blah blah, go on with life, blah blah, and then a day or two later the "missed call" alert comes on and it's the call that left the voicemail earlier.
:wtf:
The phone's also occasionally not told me for hours - many hours sometimes - that a voicemail has been left.
And I know that some calls haven't elicited a ring or a vibrate, because there's been a couple times that I knew a call was coming in, so I had the phone in hand or in my chest pocket, and the phone does nothing until the "you have a voicemail!" message comes on.
:wtf:
Ah, technology. The more they fancy up the plumbing, the easier it is to plug it up.

5. We have the problem with our cable phone doing that to people we call. |
|
Sometimes when we make a call, our dial tone goes dead after the number is dialed and all we hear is dead line while the telephone number we dialed is ringing away.
Do you mean your calls are originating from a cell phone or are coming in on your cell phone.

6. Coming in on my phone. |
|
All I hear is the *beep* that comes at the end of the ringing when you don't pick up. But there is no ringing at all. Grr.
