Movies in reverse (post yours)
If you watch Star Wars backwards, it's about a boy who, with the help of his friends, assemble a massive space station that goes around the galaxy creating planets. Then he retires to live on a farm.

(Inspired by a thread on reddit: "If you watch 'Jaws' backwards, it's a movie about a shark that keeps throwing up people until they have to open a beach.)

1. Casablanca
It's about a couple who fall out of love twice.
At the end of the movie there are more people alive than at the beginning.

2. The Godfather in reverse
this 30ish, well of casino owner dude has people kissing his ring. This brings the victimes of violent crimes back to life. He gets progressively younger and his family goes back to happier times when the old fat father comes back to life and takes over the process of bringing people back to life through his kind heart and gracious ways. He even spreads the power to his supporters who are able to put the head of a beautiful race horse back on it's body.
The young guy realizes the error of his ways and joins the military. His sister gets away from the guy who beat her through an "unmarriage" and the eldest boy, Santino, comes back to life and is still the biggest asshole you'd ever want to meet.

9. "Rope" in reverse.
A man is stuffed inside a wooden chest by two of his former prep-school classmates. The two classmates host a small party, then serve food on top of the chest.

Their guests include the man's father and aunt, as well as their old professor from prep school. After the party ends, the two classmates release the man from the chest. He's disappointed that the party's over, then is really disappointed when they strangle him.

20. Sorry to be technical/bitchy here
but wouldn't that be he gets out and finds that his wife and her lover were murdered by someone else? That's one of the things I love about the story, Andy was innocent. That is what made his escape so powerful.I don't think I would have felt the same had he been guilty.
(I don't mean to be crabby here. Your reverse recap was good!)

23. yeah, but we don't know that in the beginning
the movie begins with him drinking in his car before the murders. Thinking about it, the reverse movie should end with Red and Andy breaking off their friendship, andy leaves prison kills his wife and lover and the movie ends with him sitting in the car, drinking. The movie fades to black with that song playing.

13. Alien in reverse.
Ripley sucks a wounded xenomorph into her escape craft then helpfully removes the harpoon that was lodged in its chest. This makes them friends. To show how grateful it is, the xenomorph brings Ripley's friends back to life. After it's done, it shrinks down to tiny size, goes inside Kane's chest, and heals his wounds. Kane then gets a Facehugger stuck to his face that kindly sucks the parasite out of his body before going back into its egg.
Then the crew of the Nostromo go into hypersleep, hoping they'll meet their xenomorph friend again someday.

It starts with a game of hide and seek between two film students. These two film students wander the woods miserably. A third joins them and they begin to enjoy the woods more and more. Then their fun and whimsical hike ends and they live happily ever after.
