It's time to rewrite Bush's own quotes! Fun for the whole family! |
|
Bush said:
"Our administration is concerned about deficits, and the way they deal with deficits is you want to control spending. And I hope Congress lives up to their words. When they talk about deficits, they can join us in making sure we don't overspend. They can join us and make sure that the appropriations process is focused on those issues that -- those items that are absolutely necessary to the American people. I'm pleased that members of the Congress are talking about deficits. It means they understand their obligations not to overspend the people's money."
Rewritten (to reflect the truth in this case), it says:
"Our administration is all about creating deficits, and the way we deal with deficits is that we create disasters and use fuzzy math to siphon off cleanup costs to my special interests' coffers. And I hope Congress wakes up to my words. When they talk about deficits, they should damn well make sure we don't overspend. They should make sure that the appropriations process is focused on those issues that -- those items that are absolutely necessary to the American people and aren't deceitful to them. I'm angered that members of the Congress are talking about deficits. It means they understand their obligations to point out what a deceitful slimy bastard of a hypcroite I truly am about the peoples' money, and about the people."

people that really run my adminstration are very concerned about the political impact of my insanely large deficits. i was confused, since they had told me that they wanted insanely large deficits in order to prevent money from getting into the hands of ordinary americans. but these things often confuse me.
i hope i can successfully shift blame on to congress. very important to use the word 'congress'. karl told me that when people hear 'congress', they think 'democrats' even though we republicans control both houses of congress and never listen to any of the democrats unless we need to pretend to be bipartisan, in which case we basically just bribe one of the democrats that usually votes our way anyway and claim to be bipartisan.
now, where's the soup?
