I can not eat solid foods until Thursday

goodness I am so hungry

Hubby and our house mate grilled ribeye steaks to perfection outside, I sat with them while they ate. I sucked on a little sliver and it was soooooo good. The kitchen still smells wonderful. I had a can of chicken broth.

the menu for tomorrow? Cream of Chicken soup Strawberry Jello and applesauce and 7-up

maybe a chocolate malt later in the evening...although I am not supposed to use a straw

When they finally let me eat actual food in the hospital, it tasted so funny because I was on morphine that it made me feel ill... Nothing tasted alright and they gave me beef broth, very salty and icky... :puke:

Getting your appetite back is an excellent sign. Kudos to you for following doctor's orders and your menu doesn't sound half bad to me... :-)

For the malt, use a spoon... It'll be over before you know it... ;)
