Our house is over run by democrat bugs

(box elder bugs) my grandfather told me they got the name democrat bug back during the depression because everyone was a democrat then and they are so numerous.

They're very sociable bugs, I had one last week that didn't want to leave me, it crawled up onto my arm and stayed there, every time I moved it, it came back. Probably for the warmth, and since they are democrats I leave them alone, just shoo them outdoors if they get too pesky.
