At least Janet got David Koresh on the first try. How long have we been trying to get Saddam Hussein?

True...but who died as a result of that? Vince Foster?

Yeah..and the police got to go home after their investigation. Too bad the 3rd Infantry still can't.

> It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in
Florida!!!

Who's counting? Not Donald Rumsfeld.

> Damn our Military is GREAT!

No argument there. I just hope and pray that in 2004 they get some civilian leadership worthy of them...

4. Good response
I'd have not mentioned Foster - this will only give them something else to run with. Either "What evidence? The world is STILL waiting." or "Yes, but how many soldiers died as a result? Zero."

5. As usual, their premises are often false...I would add (in italics):
> It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the
> Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.

At least Janet got David Koresh on the first try. How long have we been trying to get Saddam Hussein?
I should hope so - it was the equivalent of a tackle football game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and PS 122.
And of course we still have at large: OSB, Mullah Omar, anthrax terrorist.

What evidence? Our invoices?

> It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the US Marines

Yeah..and the police got to go home after their investigation. Too bad the 3rd Infantry still can't.
See my reponse to #1 above.

Wrong. The vote count in Florida was never completed.

No argument there. I just hope and pray that in 2004 they get some civilian leadership worthy of them...

6. sweet!
and echo that there has been no evidence of WMDs found, chemical or otherwise.

BTW, it took the military less time to get bogged down in the mess they're in now than it took The Boy WHo Would Be King to admit responsibility for the lies that came out of his mouth in the SOTU.

7. You should add the Cheney quote
Dick Cheney was quoted in the 80 as saying that wars are fought and won by the military built by the previous administration.

That one would REALLY piss 'em off.

Oh, and....we found "evidence" of chemical weapons?? When was that????
