None, I think. He had an all time great in Len Bias and STILL couldn't win a national championship.Not a big Lefty fan. I went to Maryland in 1987, right after the big Len Bias debacle and it was pretty evident how much he damaged the basketball program there.

The only way to compete with him was to cut corners and accept some questionable recruits.
Same thing happened to NC State. Would have happened to Duke if they hadn't lucked out with Coach K

in basketball, but I think there were much better x's and o's coaches than him...and as for cutting corners, yep I agree and the sad part is I'm sure the University was probably complicit in that but wanted to compete with Chapel Hill so turned a blind eye until the Len Bias think forced them into taking a look
