65F in Mpls. Things I saw that made me smile:
1. People walking around and smiling.
2. A man going for a walk along the creek trail, picking up trash that had been uncovered by the melting snow.
3. The ubiquitous leggy young scandanavian women, blond ponytails bouncing like deer tails as they jog around still frozen lakes.
4. Drinking coffee outside in front of Bob's Java Hut, a motorcycle coffee bar, admiring the various motorcycles and bikes.
5. Breaking out one of my skinny-tired roadbikes rather than grinding along on my tank of a winter mountain bike.

After what seemed to be a rather harsher than usual winter, it's nice to see signs that Old Man Winter's back may be broken.

Peace
Noodleboy

4. We didn't have winter this year..
I think it snowed twice all season. We have been warm here in Denver. One nice thing about it though,i don't have to haul my winter gear when I go to Boulder to see Jason.

7. Your post made me smile.
One of my favorite spring things; hearing the birdsong that I've been missing for so long.

8. I saw a robin!
:woohoo:

By the way, Noodleboy 13, why haven't you come to any DU gatherings if you know about such things as frozen lakes and Bob's Java Hut?
