Hi, my name is Mike Patton and I don't suck like Billy Corgan

I started an experimental band called Mr. Bungle in the 80s fusing styles of Rap, Punk, Funk, Ska and Metal together. Eventually, I ended up singing for Faith No More (but remained in Mr. Bungle simulataneously) and revamping their sound. My live shows can be experimental similar to Lee Perry or the Beastie Boys, but I always put on a good show with my fans in mind. I can play a ton of instruments and have an incredible vocal range but I'm not a dick about it. Most people who meet me think I'm a nice guy, because I am, and I'm not full of myself (read: shit) like avant garde assholes from Chicago. As far as I know, I don't drink strawberry daiquiri's and bitch to Soundgarden about how people don't take my picture correctly in Spin magazine.

2. He's up there for me
Angel Dust is probably the best rock album from a major band no one has ever listened to.

9. "No one?"
I beg your pardon, sir, but I think I have the entire discography (and Mr. Bungle's, too, for Difficult Listening Hour) and it's all in the loop when I shuffle the old iPod at work. Do I win a prize or something?

6. You have me confused with PeterU
I don't post pictures of people who suck without some sort of explanation and/or disclaimer. That sir, is Mike Patton. Unlike Bono and Billy 'pass me a strawberry daiquiri' Corgan, he doesn't suck.

7. Come on. I think we all know what Bono looks like. He's everywhere!

Why you put his picture up while pretending to be some guy named Mike Patten, I really can't say for sure. I just hope you're okay.

11. Patton's great
I was fortunate enough to see Mr. Bungle live three times.

Hell of a show; hell of a showman.

13. Mr. Bungle and Faith No More are pretty good
I liked the Smashing Pumpkins, too. I don't think I'd like a long bus ride with Billy Corgan, though.

14. Well to be fair... he does also pee on his fans.
Okay well maybe he didn't actually pee *on* them... but close enough.

Or maybe that's his special way of keeping his fans in mind.

15. Fantomas is my fave Patton project.
But he does a ton of things that are all interesting. Tomahawk, General Patton and the X-ecutioners, Kaada/Patton, etc. He did the soundtrack for a short movie called A Perfect Place that's excellent (as is the film itself), and he was cool acting in the movie Firecracker. He's all over the place, and always interesting.

16. Mr. Bungle's first album is brilliant.
I've had friends literally get sick while listening to it. It's excellent.

17. One of the most brilliant vocalists and musicians of the last 20 years.
One need only listen to the first Fantomas to realize the truth of this.
