Any other allergy sufferers out there
Yes you all know about my weird ass allergies.......but the last week my "'seasonal allergies" have been going crazy. My mom doesn't understand this because she can't see any flowers or leaves......but my eyes, nose, throat, etc KNOW everything out there is pollenating......little bastard plants and grasses. My doc ususally recommends putting my air conditioner up in early April and keep it till late october.......just sucks paying for the juice.

anyone else starting to feel like shit a bit earlier this year?

1. My Bella Rose has them I am finding out.
The pollen down here is RIDICULOUS! She started snotting everywhere, and it traveled to the dreaded ears. Hello ear infection!

3. Baby snot is NEVERENDING!
Especially since she is also teething. She is on antibiotics for the ears though. If we could just get those teeth in. All of the bibs for the slobber are ruining the look of all of her cute outfits! :7

11. She is my first and I am 30! I thought I would
be finished by 30. I hope to have one more. Personally I think it is good that I had her later. I got all of the fun party stuff out of my way. Not that I am not allowed fun anymore, but babies are ALL consuming. Well worth it though. One day...

I"m 31 I'd love to have one in about 2 years......I would love twins....two babies only one time of my meds.....but even just one healthy baby......oh I think some people are just born to be parents

20. I have a new found respect for people with twins or more
(minus octo-mom). It is HARD. One baby is HARD, I cannot imagine more than one infant to care for at the same time. But it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. That smile, giggle. Melts my heart. I hope it happens for you. It will; I know it.

15. None of those things bother me.
It's pollen, grass, etc.

If those things were the problem then I'd be screwed year round.

19. I'll be fine. I just won't see my parents for a few weeks.
I'm sure that I'll spend at least part of that time being under heavy sedation.

When my allergies are on fire I have this fantasy of screwing off my face like a cyborg or something and hosing off the inside.

16. Anybody else try allergy drops under the tongue?
I am using allergy drops. They've been around since the 1980's, I was told. I'm allergic to just about everything out there, including dog hair, cat hair, pollen, dust, tomatoes, shellfish, yada yada...
I think they are helping.

Website of the people I got mine from:

Adding local honey and flaxseed oil or fish oil to your diet, if you don't already include those?

Allergies suck...

22. Yes. I'm miserable.
Tree pollen is the culprit for me. As soon as those little red buds come out on the trees, I'm done for. I used to take Zyrtec before it went OTC. Not sure what I'll do yet this year.

23. With my insurance the Zyrtec generic OTC is cheaper than getting it Rx
Look for Cetirizine in a store brand. Before we dropped our Sam's membership, my husband found it in a pack of 360 tablets for $18! I'm hoping Costco has a similar deal for next year.

Without that stuff I cannot leave the house from when the oaks start blooming until the ligustrum stops. With it, I just have itchy eyes and a dry throat. Better living through chemistry is my motto during allergy season!
