My Step mom called me and she wants the girl and i to go with her in June, she called like an hour ago so i'm just starting to look around.

other sites, the round trips with one or 3 stops start at close to $700.

Try kayak or if your dates are flexible, hotwire.

The problem with using points is you are screwed into a specific date and specific point class. Last time we went to use points to take the kids to West Palm, it was 100,000 per flight for each of them. That is just crazy when you consider how much flying hubby has to do to earn those.

Our Flights to Hawaii that leave on Sunday were a good deal, it was 80,000 poiints per person.

80,000 points is a good deal. When we went to Maui a few years ago, we spent 25,000 for each kid round trip. Not sure why, I think it was because it was midweek? and we weren't competing with honeymooners.

My brother goes down there every few years to visit a friend and escape Michigan winters. For some reason flights were far more expensive this year to there than they've ever been before for him.

19. Try Copa Airlines. They fly from L.A. to San Jose (Costa Rica)

and have reasonable web fares.

We have been going back and forth to Panama a lot in the last 4 years and Copa has become
my airline of choice for getting to Panama City from NC (We use Southwest to fly to Orlando
and then take Copa to Panama City.)

21. They fly out of LAX (Los Angeles) to San Jose, Costa Rica. I tried some dates.

You have to change planes in Panama City. Web fares for sometime in April are $384 RT.
