If it snows-no service strong wind-no service customer service that clearly reads from a flowchart and is unable to veer away from it we had the same tech come here 4 times and the official word was that it was "static" that was tying up the internet. We never got the credit for all the lost time after numerous calls
A few days I get a call about a FREE DVR box. Great we can take the TiVo box upstairs, tape anything we want on either machine, AND my wife can watch "Weeds" to her hearts content (6 months free Showtime came with it). I get channels 1 (OnDemand)...14 (HBO that we don't actually get)...19, 20... and 38. No local stations (CBS-basketball) and no PBS (my daughter watches Curious George and WordWorld)---no Comedy Central either. I now have the cable plugged directly into the TV and am only getting the local stations. No pause, no replay, ...WHAT AM I A FARMER!!!?!??!!?
Now after FIVE calls I am told that I have a "bad box" and need to return it. A tech can come out on Sunday....no I will take it to the office and stand in line and get another one tomorrow.
