She wasn't that bad of a dog,but she was a mountain dog who found herself in the city. Instead of claiming 100s of acres all around,the dog was protecting the whole city block. She bit the stranger in the night because she thought that she was on her territory. Such a tragedy,some animals just don't adapt very well. :-(

6. That is sad. Only time my pooch bit me was when I noticed an injured paw, and tried to get a look. |

I knew he'd never do that, and called the vet immediately.
He had a a torn nail, and an infection. I thought it was the 4th of July fireworks making him so crazy. They took him to surgery the next morning and had to remove part of his paw because the infection was so bad.
Talk about feeling like shit! I did.
