does anyone know the name of those toy sets with woodland creatures...
...I think they are little mice or squirrels or something, and there are houses and villages and all kinds of stuff?

Anyone?

1. If they are blue, then "Smurfs"
If they aren't blue, no clue.

3. Well I guess if you're a BIG wooden animal, color wouldn't matter.
They probably all taste the same anyway.

Do you have a better description? Do you have any in your possession or is this from memory? Also, are they from old sets or a newer series? My wife might know if you can describe them a little better.

4. "Woodsies"
My kids had them back in the 80s I think.

They were very cute.

5. I'll check that out.
I just found something called Maple Town -- apparently those are out of production. And apparently there are other varieties, too. Something called Sylvanian Families, and Furries.

Thanks.

7. I found a picture on Google Images. Is this what you had in mind?
They were made by Fisher-Price.

8. I think I was thinking of Maple Town
...but Woodsies are awfully cute. I wonder how I missed them when they were current. I think we had every other type of Fisher Price toy.
