I Rediscovered an old hobby...Easy to do, available, cheep...can be done by one or many..
and it is............putting together jig saw puzzles

Yesterday my girl friend and I were looking at some stuff in my basement, I was showing some old frames I had bought to use for pictures some day. She looked on a shelf, and saw some jig saw puzzles. She said let's do one. And one was left that had not been put together from the mid 90s...Took our minds off of everything. We are now about one third through.
..550 pieces..Kim Jacobs picture.

2. And as my friend and I worked together on this ..we
found that working together for the completion of this project was..fun..

Ok, it isn't rocket science or You Tube...or Twitter...
but it is working together trying to finish a puzzle ..and there is simple accomplishment in finding pieces and even finishing the border ..You know. I think more kids should work on them. Well I am not a kid..I am 63..but I didn't think this could be fun anymore, and it is. She is stopping by tomorrow afternoon after her work..she is 65..:)

3. I suspect it is more fun when you do it without kids. *Thinking of all the
"close 'nuff" pieces that get pounded into place.* :eyes:

:P

7. My husband was putting a jigsaw puzzle together when he had his heart attack.
He doesn't like to do them any more. :(

8. Me too, Stuart G! I've started collecting puzzles from the places that we go on vacation.
The first one that I got was a 3-D puzzle the Sears Tower in Chicago. I can't find my picture but this is what it looked like:
