SOoooooooooo - I'm going for my six-month follow-up MRI tomorrow am to see if the tumor (pituitary macroadenoma) is completely gone or if it is growing again.

I was doing okay until I reread the letter and saw that a radiologic oncologist was on the list of people I have to see tomorrow, along with the neurologist/neurosurgeon, two endocrinologists, and the ophthamologist. The tumor was growing along my optic nerve and the surgeon isn't sure he "got it all" - that little shadow MIGHT MIGHT been just "scar tissue", doncha know. If it IS growing again, they'll try radiation instead of surgery. Or something.

Anyways, now I'm nervous and all, more than I was the first time.
