How come the only word in English that ends like "hungry" |
|
Edited on Tue Mar-31-09 09:30 AM by HamdenRice
is "angry." Why aren't there more "gry" works, like there are "tion" words or "ly" words?

7. What does 'ghoti' spell? |
|
It spells 'fish.' Pronounce the gh as in 'tough' Pronounce the o as in 'women' Pronounce the ti as in 'nation' and you get fish. Very strange language.
