How come the only word in English that ends like "hungry"
Edited on Tue Mar-31-09 09:30 AM by HamdenRice
is "angry." Why aren't there more "gry" works, like there are "tion" words or "ly" words?

7. What does 'ghoti' spell?
It spells 'fish.'
Pronounce the gh as in 'tough'
Pronounce the o as in 'women'
Pronounce the ti as in 'nation'
and you get fish. Very strange language.
