I'd love to the rich prophet that doesn't give a damn about societal norms, who is guiding his own life instead of being led by the bullshit of society, who is driven by some higher purpose (it'd be nice to believe there actually is a higher purpose), who stands up for the little guy, and who has the opportunity to bang Julie Gonzalo.

38. Yeah, Jeannie's sister (it's the cousin on Bewitched)
was not one anyone would want to 'own', unless they were meaner than she was, then she was quite compliant :P

Roger always had the best lines and, of the humans, was the most conniving at getting Jeannie, for anything

What's great in being Roger, is that Jeannie was often quite generous and would grant wants (wishes are special requests) for Roger, though she'd get her tricks in, too

46. i always mix those two up...
serena was sam's cousin- but i don't remember jeanie's sister having a name. but- lurch(ted cassidy) was habib, her master.

bill daily basically took the roger healy character with him, in the form of howard borden, to the bob newhart show- just instead of saying "hi jeannie, hi tony!" when he came thru the door, he'd say "hi bob!, hi emily!", and in the same voice and tone.

48. That's a good observation about Bill Daily's other characters
and so true! :)

Most people don't know Jeannie's sister's name and that seems to be one of the most-often asked questions about the show. When they find out, they are usually disappointed and think it's a cop-out, but there is a very important line Jeannie speaks just minutes before her sister is introduced, in reply to Tony's confusion about it.

Tony: "Jeannie? You're sister's name is Jeannie?"
Jeannie: "Oh yes. We are all Jeannies."

This would imply that the Djinn (the Genies) don't really have names as we know it or that seems to be the case for the few whose names we do learn. 'Jeannie' appears to be more of a title-name, though this won't be apparent to people that just watch the show casually, without so much fan-study :P

Yes, Ted Cassidy was one of Jeannii's (my easier-on-the-eyes version of "Jeannie II") masters, but she also had a meaner and older one that was shown at the end of her introductory episode. Jeannii also seems to get new masters (and husbands) quite often, even for a djinni.

I remember my brother once talking of one of his friend's university communication-studies classes where they spent the full semester studying "Green Acres"! :D
So, it's not just us fans that get obsessed ;)
