Thanks for the wows! I do portraits from photos because obviously it's a lot easier. I wouldn't be able to get anywhere near some of the people I would love to draw. And, of course it's also my interpretation. I really like drawings in themselves and I think they should be as important as every other form of art.

Whenever I need to feel that human beings can be truly good I remember him. He is a very enlightened part of our American History and has always made me feel proud to be part of his country. That may be a strange thing to say, but it's how I feel.
