Next week is K's spring break |
|
and between yesterday and today, K came home with at least 10 hours of "catchup work" that she did not finish in school. Some dating back to fucking St Patrick's Day.
Can someone please kill me now?
And then her teacher has decided that K needs more practice with "math facts" so she sent home a packet (at least 30 pages) that not only does K have to do over break but I have to correct it. I have decided that we will do it, but I am not having K do it over break, nor will I correct the damned thing for her teacher.

1. Do it yourself. You could knock it out in about an hour. |
|
she can practice her math facts over the summer.

2. I was thinking something along the same lines |
|
Only having her do a page a day with her regular homework, and sending it back on the last day of school.

I'd make her a deal. K does the math worksheets and she gives you 30 pages of appropriately cited research on age appropriate expectations for second graders.
