Because if not, I'm only going to be a "C" Catholic this year.

1. Church of Media. Yep, it counts.
You can now repent your sins to the spaghetti monster later on.

2. OK with me. The only religious show I watched this weekend was
about Jewish archeology, and I saw only a few minutes of that.

As far as being a "C" catholic, I'm no longer even on the mailing list.

3. I would say so.
When I was a kid, we watched Christmas Eve Mass (Pope Paul?) on TV in a motel room in a small town just off the highway. We went to pick up my grandmother so she'd be with us for Christmas, but it got so foggy that my father had to pull off or crack up... :scared:

And I also saw the terrific Italian film "The Gospel According to Saint Matthew" (subtitled) when I was in (boarding) high school. It was required viewing for my roommate's religion class and I went along to keep her company. I learned so much from that film that it got me through my own required religion classes which no amount of reading could match. "Pictures being worth a thousand words," and all that... :-) :bounce:

Times have changed and media has become an integral part of life experience for all of us. :-) :hi:

4. Somewhere I have a picture of a church sign (not a fake)...
"Laying in bed on Sunday morning screaming 'OH GOD' does not count as praying."

It is at least something quite similar to that.

5. Either that or all the religious movies on TCM.
