I don't care for pot, I'll never smoke it |
|
And frankly, I hate the smell.
However, I am concerned about it being used as an excuse to fill up the prisons
But I was thinking, if I ever needed to use it for medicinal purposes, how would I consume it, since I wouldn't want to smoke it?
Any experts out there?

4. you can cook it into butter and filter the butter. |
|
The active ingredients then are in the butter, without the plant matter.
Use the butter in cooking, or just spread it on bread.

19. Is this true? SERIES???////???/ |
|
If I were - and I'm just asking purely hypothetically, as I'm sure you're answering purely hypothetically - to combine butter and cannabis, exactly how would I do it? Melt the butter, add the green stuff, and cook for how long?
Thank you for this important research information.....................

31. Just get the butter warm, liquid. |
|
put in the plant, and keep on warm. If the butter is bubbling it's too hot. If the butter is browning, it's too hot. Ten to fifteen minutes should do the trick.
yes it works. Very good indeed.

9. I love the smell - MUCH better than cigs, or GAG cigars. |
|
I rarely partake, but I guess there are these new fangled atomizers you can use, beside eating. Pot has gotten so strong since my partying days, I can't handle it - but man does it smell better too! That old mouldy Mexican "Columbian" we used to get compared to the yummy "skunk" green sticky buds now? No comparison.

I don't smoke, but if I were sick I'd defiantly want to give it a try as I don't do prescription pharmacy drugs. I wonder if it works for migrains? Anyone have any experience with that?

If you are on niacin therapy for high triglycerides, it blocks metabolization of edible cannabis products (THC has to be absorbed into fat in order to have an affect when eaten, it isn't water-soluble).
You can get high smoking, but not eating, whilst on niacin-therapy.
Weird, neh?

12. THC is fat-soluble, so you can make weed butter or vegetable oil. |
|

Which, of course, you can put in cookies, brownies, etc. It's a different kind of high, but it still works.

23. We made spaghetti once, in my very foolish and dissipated youth. I really don't remember why. |
|
I suppose perhaps we were depressed that Nixon was still president. Five or six of us made a big pot. My friend's mother wasn't supposed to be home for hours. But oddly, as soon as it finished, she appeared and assumed that we had made her dinner. This seemed slightly awkward: we attempted to dissuade her, but none of our heartfelt warnings about our dreadful cooking skills and the terrible quality of our ingredients had any effect, and she had hearty seconds and thirds. She found it delicious; the rest of us were meanwhile worrying about being struck down in retribution by lightning or some such. But it seemed to have surprisingly little effect on her: we all sat around and socialized for several hours. We never did that again, though

24. Vaporization is the way to go. The problem with eating it is, it is difficult to |
|
assay your dose level. With inhaling, although the effect isn't instantaneous, it comes on fairly quickly. So you can tell very easily when you've "had enough" -- at which point you just stop. Eating can be very different. For one thing, the onset takes much longer and is more of a "body" load. The last time I ate a loaded chocolate chip cookie someone gave me I got bowled on my ass. I'd been told ONE was fine. But that's just it, the dosage level is kind of subjective and is different for different people. A half a cookie would have been more than enough for me but I didn't know that until it was too late. I had a difficult time getting up, waking around. It makes me very sensitive, too, so if I have too much I get the shakes. Chills. I have to wrap up in warm blankets and just "chill" for awhile before I mellow out enough to feel comfortable. Anyway, that's my advice. A good vaporizer (like the Volcano) isn't cheap, though.

You can eat it, make cakes or cookies or brownies or an herbal beef roast. It works just as well as smoking without all the.......smoke. Yeah.
