1. It is an excellent beer, yes. My personal fave, however... |
|
is Harviestoun Old Engine Oil. Nothing compares if you like dark, smokey and thick...

Lager or ale? Hoppy? Bitter? Malty? Rich and chewy, or light and refreshing? Strong or weak alcohol? What makes you like it so much?

4. It's an India Pale Ale. Very hoppy, and has to be very fresh. |
|
Out here (San Ramon) I am only 2 hours away from said brewing location (Santa Rosa)
So that means it will usually be fresh. Very yummy, very dank, very floral, very piney, very resinous, very cannabis-like, very smooth and very good.
It's 8%, and comes in Pint + bottles (Pint + .9 oz)
Very chewy and rich at the same time, but at the same time very refreshing.

7. have you tried the Lagunitas Undercover Investigation Shutdown Ale? |
|
Sounds similar. Almost too floral for my taste, actually. But I have some in the fridge and it WILL be consumed!

6. Oh yes I love that beer. |
|
I've been drinking a lot of Belgian beers since I got back from Europe (and that included a side trip to Belgium and the world-famous Delirium Cafe). My particular favorites are Westmalle Dubbel and St. Bernardus.

Tyranena's Smoked Chipotle Imperial Porter is the best.
Not an IPA fan myself.
