I just recieved a nasty Reich Wing spam. Is this response ok? |
|
SUBJECT LINE: Your hateful Reich-Wing Spam made me so happy I could piss in your (overly) sweet-tea!"
"Get over your hateful, morAnic (kudos to a dumbfuck Pro-War "Protestor" for the inbred spelling!), obsessions with all things GOOD (Progress, Rights, Freedom) and work on trying to make the World a better place, huh?:-)
You despise a band? You hate the Dixie Chicks?! What about Arnohhhd dimwit, any criticism for him? I didn't think so hypocrite.
Just curious: Do you remember what the FIRST AMENDMENT is? Huh? You know, the RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH, I didn't think so numbskull.
Go hang another Swastika in front of your house.
Thanks so much!
Have a miserable day you (more than likely) bible-thumping imbecile!
Michael"
Was it threatening or in some way punishable?
Am I OK to send it back to this troglodyte?
Will HomeLand/Fatherland Security be after me?
Thanks!

From an old Molly Ivins book (think "Nuthin' but Good Times...")- was a joke among the Richards staff that they should slap on a bumpersticker and drive from E Tx to Waco and back, whoever survived, won. Bumper sticker was to say, IIRC, "I'm the queer Ann sent here to take your guns away."

...simply asking why they hate and want to kill so many Americans, more than half in fact. More than half qualify for one or more of those bumper stickers. The fact that they want to kill more than half the citizens of the US is a sure sign that they are a fundamentalist zealot and marginally insane terrorist. I suggest you turn them into the Department of Homeland Security.

LOL, those folks sure are morons... your response was definitely an appropriate one, I'd say, and perhaps you were being a bit too light. By the way, I've never seen a pink Volvo! And I even own a Volvo...

11. My original subject line was: |
|
"Your hateful Reich-Wing e-mail made me so happy I could shit in your mouth!"
I figured that it was from a "Church Lady" and that would curl her toes, or perhap turn her on the Japanese x-rated videos...

10. As a Texan, I never thought of that joke as being conservative... |
|
As it has existed in MANY, MANY forms over the years. I always considered it more of an insult to Texas more than anything, considering it implies that differences of opinion in this state are not tolerated. Which is somewhat true. But I never considered it to be a conservative joke. Maybe a joke about conservatives, but never a conservative joke.

12. I dunno; this could just be interpreted as a swipe at Texas |
|
I'd probably just delete and forget.
However, now I want a pink Volvo!

When I first heard thaat joke three years ago, it didn't have any of those lines in the middle. Will those people ever stop whining?

since brevity is the soul of wit and since he isn't gonna read past the first line anyway try this instead:
Dear you,
Suck my ass.
Love, your name
Just a thought.

6. They won't get the Moran joke. |
|
Was the email forwarded to you? If not, remember, the sender didn't write it. So you have to ask yourself, "Is this person convertable?"
If not, blast away. If the answer to the above question is yes, then you might do more harm than good.

9. I don't know this person. |
|
It appears to be a co-worker of my mom.
She bounced it off of my mother's work email.
Maybe I should just say that I don't appreciate political garbage being sent to me?

whatever you feel you should do, do it; (tyhat includes nothing, if that is how you feel).
spooky part about these people, they think that no Dem could possibly make it out of Dealy Plaza anyway.
Best way to deal with neo-cons, is to give them a tongue lashing wuith their own tongues, (hurts twice as much because of the fork).
Now, where the hell are the keys to my Volvo? I think I'll take the pink wagon today.

13. I think that the original mail was funny, not necessarily RW....... |
|
Seriously - you can't make jokes these days?
It's more satirical against small-minded, Conservative States (specifically Texas) than a genuine swipe against Democrats or liberals.
Lighten up. By over-reacting to this kind of thing you undermine your own position.
IMHO, obviously.
Peace.

19. But consider the following......... |
|
New Survivor Game:
We all put on T-shirts saying "I hate gays" and visit San Fransisco, NY's village and London's Soho - first one to make it back alive wins.
We all put on T-shirts saying "I hate black people" and visit Harare and Soweto - first one to make it back alive wins.
We all put on T-shirts saying "I love the NY Mets" and hang around Yankee Stadium - first one to make it back alive, wins.
We all put on T-shirts saying "George Bush is the best President we've ever had" and turn up to a DU rally - first one back alive wins!
We all put on Manchester Utd shirts and hang around Maine Road (Manchester City's Ground) - anyone lasting 5 mins wins!
To me, these are all funny and inoffensive. None imply that you agree with the statements made, they just suggest that it would be difficult to survive in any of the environments given, displaying slogans that would cause violent reactions. That, to me, is comical - why would you do such a thing? It's a farce!
The only things potentially offensive in the mail was the idea that Texas is an intolerant, violent and bigoted State, but even that is stretching it at bit.....especially as it's true!
(I'm joking).

Sorry, the part about Man Utd and Man City made me think of a scene in "24 Hour Party People". It involves some very angry Utd fans.
