Good morning Lounge
How are you today? How was your weekend? Mine was busy busy busy. My mom and her bf were here and we did a lot in my condo again. It looks more and more like a home now. Since this weekend I have my pictures on the wall :woohoo:

Friday we went for a hike. Haven't uploaded the pictures yet though.

Saturday was steady and Sunday was stormy. I'm about done with the planning stages of a greenhouse I'm building. We just need to have us a "barn raising" day soon :)

Glad to see ya!

You had quite a busy weekend indeed. Mine was a bit less active, I got a lot of rest and reading in. Our boss has been off since Friday, and today's the last day before he comes back.

It's going to be another mad dash of a day without him. Weeeeeee

I had a productive weekend. I had to buy new clothes because of my weight loss deal, so I went through my old clothes and got rid of everything that was too big. Now there's some incentive to keep the weight off! Clothes are expensive. I also bought a new Blue Ray player and an LCD TV. I also got rid of my desktop computer and got a laptop. And I got lots of cleaning done. So, yeah, a productive and expensive weekend. I'm very happy that I have the means to do that kind of stuff right now. I know a lot of people aren't so lucky.

I too had a fun and productive weekend. Went to a concert Friday and Saturday night, and a vintage fashion show Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday, my neighbor and I laid some bricks along our property lines. It's not the most professional job, but it does look nice.

Oh, I meant to tell you. We watched Mamma Mia over the weekend. OMG, what a fun movie! Of course, Pierce Brosnan has the most annoying singing voice I've ever heard. Most of the others aren't much better, but it was a lot of fun. I had the feeling they took a bunch of actors (being an Abba fan was probably a requirement), gave them 10 singing lessons, and said, "Let's go!"

36. Well, I am a big gardener
and last week the energy company here had their annual tree giveaway, where anyone who shows up has their choice of two trees each.

So with my mom and a friend, we came away with 6 beautiful tropical shade trees and then I had the fun of planting all of them.

The rest of the time we've just been sitting on the dock watching the tide go in and out.B-)

OK, I am jealous now. I love to sit at the ocean and listen to the waves *sigh*

Just a gentle lapping.

I hope your tomatoes do well. We plant here in September and mine are bearing fruit like crazy. Usually it gets too hot by June, but so far I have had a great year with tomatoes.

Also growing cantelopes.

47. Good morning blueraven
:hi:  :loveya:

We had a good time, even with all the work. Friday we had a wonderful hike and Saturday we went to a restaurant that serves Cajun food. Very yummy.

65. sounds wonderful!
I watched a really silly movie this weekend, that was shot in Italy, and I have to say...even with all the Hollywood magic, if Venice looks even a little bit like it looks in all the movies than I would move there in a heartbeat. :) It looks so pretty.

My class is done, and the paper is turned in, so now I'm just waiting on a grade. *crossing fingers* :D

Besides a vet visit, that was my weekend. Well, that and cleaning.

69. Everything alright with your kitty?
I never have been to Venice. But I want to visit it too. This summer I will be going to the Toscany for a week. Florence and area :D

76. the cat was fine
the vet did a ton of tests (very expensive tests) and then didn't really know what was wrong. Which was seriously frustrating. Basically the stupid cat decided to stop eating - and when I brought her home from the vet she started eating again. No idea why.

Oh, I want to join you on your trip to Tuscany. :D I want to see Italy so badly!
