Supreme Court just threw out the ruling on Janet Jackson's Super Bowl thingy
I thought that CBS *was* fined for this incident. This makes it sound like CBS wasn't fined, and the Supreme Court is now saying that CBS should be. I'm confused - someone help my memory, please.

The Supreme Court is ordering a federal appeals court to re-examine its ruling in favor of CBS Corp. over Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction.

The court Monday directed the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia to consider reinstating the $550,000 fine that the Federal Communications Commission imposed on CBS over Ms. Jackson's breast-baring performance at the 2004 Super Bowl.

A high-court ruling last week narrowly upheld the FCC's policy threatening fines on so-called fleeting expletives on live television.

1. Did they change the foul language on TV rules lately?
I notice they censor even more words and on occassion they even censor the mouths when saying the word 'fuck'. The movie Casino is no longer watchable on basic cable anymore. They delete all scenes that even hint on sexual contact for example, when Sharon Stone asks Joe Pecsi "Do you think I'm stupid?" after he instructs on what not to tell Ace so they delete the scene in which Joe Pecsi leans in and kisses her and then says "No, I think you're beautiful." They didn't even have implied sex but they delete the scene anyways. The last scene where the bothers are buried is you see the bats being swung and that's it. Casino is comletely unwatchable on basic cable.

2. Who cares about halftime? The only scene that matters...

:P

In all seriousness the Cardinals shouldn't of made it that close especially considering the Steelers drive started as a 2nd and 20 on their own 10 yard line.

On edit: About halftime I was so angry about the interception I was really annoyed by the halftime show and comlained it would never end. I wanted to see the damn game especially since my team was involved.

4.  I was too nervous to watch any halftime show
Turned out I had a right to be - great game.

I can't see that far...
