7. Me too
I had to put her into an assisted living situation last year. It's been hellish. What kind of living arrangements does your mom have?

9. She's there.
She has my father taking care of her who moved them into assisted living last fall. They have an apartment and he is keeping her with him as long as he can. He is still in good health (mim knocks on wood).

13. That's nice they still have each other
I didn't expect my mom to lose her memory. My Gramma was tending bar until she died of a heart attack in her mid-seventies. I never saw it coming.

6. Sorry
It really does. Its hard for me working with people I know would otherwise be highly intelligent and interesting people. I can only grasp at how hard it would be to have it be someone close.

15. Yes, it does ..........
It's so hard to grasp that the person you knew is not really there any more.

It's a hell of a struggle.

Hang in there...............................
