needing help with dvd rom

My Gateway has stopped seeing my dvd rom. When I go to the Device Manager it says that Windows cannot load the device driver and it gives me a code 39. I've tried searching for a driver for the dvd rom and haven't had any luck. I think the dvd rom is a Hatachi. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix my problem.

I followed the instructions and it worked like a charm. Now if anybody can help me get my 15 in 1 Smart Card reader to work I'll be very happy. I periodically stops working. I tried downloading the driver from Gateway and it didn't work.
