3. I love New England Clam chowder and tomato based corn chowder.
Cream-based corn chowder and Manhattan clam chowder are okay in my book too.

4. usually New England clam chowder
but sometimes I really crave manhattan style.

I regard corn chowder as I do raisin oatmeal cookies; a disappointment, as it was masquerading as something else.

6. here's some good corn chowder
Poblano corn chowder with shrimp

I made it for a party & it rocked seriously. You can forego the shrimp if you're feeding vegetarians, observant Jews, or other non-seafood eaters. It's still yum.

That looks delicious!
Knorr used to offer a corn cream that was a great base for the chowders. Can't seem to find it anymore. What a shame.

10. today's chowdah at our cafeteria
was shrimp & garlic. It was yummy. (I picked out the potatoes.)
