It's a good, well practiced falsetto but with little control or range. I think it may even have been too high for that aria which I'm guessing is from Madame Butterfly.
edit: :dunce: "Nessun dorma" from Turandot, which I would've known if I watched the whole thing. Puccini sounds all the same to me, I guess.
