What are your recommendations for a reasonably priced digital camcorder?

I've been thinking about getting one soon for my summer trip and want to know what to look for. It would be nice to be able to download to a USB drive and not use mini tapes or whatever they're called. Motion stabilization is good and the ability to pick up indoors, even in low light is something I'm wanting. Any suggestions as to where to look and what for?
