I haven't had anyone really close to me die just yet, except for Khashka...and that was horrible. I still miss him.

Watching someone you love die is terribly hard. I hope you can spend lots of time with him, talking about whatever you want...

These big transitions are always tough. Becoming a parent is hard too; that's why we have 9 months to get used to the idea.

Same way with dying...when you have warning, then there's some time to get used to the idea that your loved one is going to disappear.

I know how awfully hard this is for you--I lost my two best friends, one to melanoma and one to suicide. It has been years since their deaths, and it still hurts to this day.
