Okay, I edited the subject line... It wasn't getting any attention the other way.

Which of you culinary masters can correctly identify this piece of cutlery? What do you call this particular knife? Bonus points if you can identify it by manufacturer.

Great for thinly slicing meat for sukiyaki or something.

The knife I grab most often is a white-handled 6 inch Henckels chef's knife. I also have 8 inch and 10 inch chef's knives, but the smaller one is easier to handle and affords better control.
