There's a Tribble in it, though, if you look hard enough.

No Janice Rand, no Gary Mitchell, no Elizabeth Dehner, no Mark Piper, and no Cadet Finnegan, and thank goodness for every one of those omissions, especially the last. I'm the anti-Rabrrrr - I've seen the movie 3 times and think it is the best Star Trek movie yet, with the possible (and only possible) exception being Wrath of Khan. But don't trust me: go catch it at a matinee and make up your own mind about it.

3. To be fair, Grace Lee Whitney was only in eight TOS episodes |
|
In her autobiography, Whitney alleges that an unnamed TV executive made a sexual assault against her, and she draws a link between this and her sacking a few days later. (wiki)

5. That's what sequels are for |

I just hope they don't try to create a new "Khan". That would be a recipe for failure.

With photon flippers or something.
Tragic, but she was wearing the red uniform, and you know what their life expectancy is...
But the beehive survived. McCoy began using it as a tribble-keeper.
