Have you ever accidentally burnt something in your oven, and it stank up the house

I was cooking something and ran a brief errand that turned into a longer event, and when I returned the food was charcoal and the house stunk to high heaven.

Today I did the "auto-self clean" of the oven. But the house still smells so bad I have a headache.

1. I have a paranoia about leaving the house with the oven on.

I even double check it before I go to bed, making sure it's off.

4. It was a vegetarian pizza. It was actually the first pizza I'd intended to have since

around 2003. I NEVER make frozen pizza. This was just my lucky night, I guess.
