Good morning Lounge
How are you today?
Not much went on yesterday here. It was busy at work and I had a quiet evening. They showed "Dirty Dancing" on TV last night .... it sure brought back memories :)
Tonight I need to pack my stuff for my short trip. My mom called yesterday, we are invited to a BBQ on Thursday evening :9

And about the dance itself ... details please

3. well it is evening for me
I must be turning in.

The details of the dance are kinda sordid. At my baby sister's wedding I finally found a woman willing to dance with me and somehow, for some reason, she moved in very close. It was amazing, and also kinda disgusting or shocking. I have never danced like that before or since. She was on me like spandex and it felt gooood. But also dirty.

Possibly tame compared to the movie, but I do live a sheltered life.

Today looks to be busy, and I'll probably complain about that too

Your week is almost over :woohoo:

So guess what? It's supposed to rain all weekend in VA! except this time P. has to work, so we will be out in it. He is working a festival in the park, and there is a tent but it looks like I'll be the roadie's gf sitting in the tent with him to avoid the rain.

6. Good morning MissH!
A BBQ sounds fun. Lots of good food always happens at a BBQ! :9

Finishing up some loose ends at work today and tomorrow and then I'm off. You're packing tonight, and I'll finish packing tomorrow when I get home.

I bet you're waiting for the nice long weekend. It's always nice to have time off of work, and it sounds like fun things are planned at your mom's.

Great picture. One of these days I'm going to visit the Carolina's.

Grrrrr . . . had a difficult time sleeping last night, so I'm sure by mid-afternoon this old body will be dragging. ;)

16. Glad to hear that the
weather is going to be good. Gives you more of an opportunity to do lots of outdoor fun stuff.

Visiting Tennessee would be great too. It's a beautiful state and some beautiful kind souls live there. :)

Got a boring health insurance meeting to go to today. I'd skip it, but I feel it's necessary. One has to almost be a PhD in order to decipher health insurance language.

9. Good Morning!
MissHoneychurch:hug:

Lovely photo...
Happy to hear that you're going to visit your beloved mother...
Ah....mother love. Enjoy!
:loveya:
I'm going to the shelter to hang out with my new doggie. She's not ready to come home yet, needs to be spayed, so I'm bringing home to her. She already has a new blankie! We snuggled on it yesterday...I was in heaven because she's a very freaked out and panicky girl...she calmed down for some love...

I'm off work for the summer...school vacation!
Have a wonderful week!

peace~

38. Good morning Miss Honeychurch.
I love that picture; I spent 10 years of my life living in that area and have done a lot of hiking around there. That brings back many memories. Did you get to see Linville too?

We are finally, finally having rain in the Keys. Two inches over the last 14 hours. My garden is so happy and so am I. My dogs, not so much, because they are afraid of the thunder. It rumbled and rained all night.

Have fun at your barbecue!

Also Oregon and Washington. I've seen very little of the western US.

In Europe I'd like to visit France again, Germany again, Italy, Greece, Belgium and most definitely the Scandinavian countries.

That would be a start, lol!
