Jeff Beck Live At Ronnie Scotts...
I ordered the CD from Amazon as soon as it came out (thanks to the poster here who first mentioned it here). They had it on Palladia not long ago and I recorded it with my DVR and watched it several times, but I just found the DVD at WalMart for $9! If you have $9 and a DVD player I highly recommend you run out and get this. Nobody plays guitar like this (what he does with the bottleneck on 'Angel Footsteps' is fucking unbelievable), and his band is so tight. Plus Clapton, Joss Stone and Imogen Heap are guests on the DVD but aren't on the CD. NINE BUCKS!

1. We watched this the other night on Palladia. I agree it's amazing
and I'm not really a fan, but all the musicians and singers were great. And the slide thing he did...yes. I had to back up and watch that again!

And who was that amazing young woman on the bass!?!?!

2. Tal Wilkenfeld...
She was with him last year at Clapton's Crossroad Festival. She's awesome... I mean you just don't see bass solos. I have her CD too... mostly fusion jazz.

3. thanks. We had also watched Todd Rundgren's live concert
and his female bass player, Rachel Haden, while good, was no match for Tal. Of course they are playing different music but still...

I have to go google her now.

5. I posted about Tal Wilkenfeld yesterday
Because I saw the "Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's" concert for the first time on Palladia. I had never heard of her before. She is AMAZING. Only 21 when she performed that show. I posted a YouTube link of her at the Crossroads 2007 festival.

6. I have the CD. Saw Beck playing in a club about a month ago.
He was phenomonal! Tal Wickenfield was in the band and she was amazing as well. Seeing their interplay was great.
