4. Sooner or later, it would be obvious that Mickey Mouse would get rabies.
Which is ironic, a rabid gerbil has more creative talent than that company for any number of years now...

8. that looks like the little fella I saved from the middle of the road
the other day.

He was squirming around on the center line at the intersection down the street. (The street was hot.)

I stopped and picked him up in a cloth sack, then put him in a box and called my friend with the wildlife rescue group and made arrangement to take him to them.

Seems that possum mommies are protective until one of the little ones fall off of her when she is walking from one place to another. If they fall off, she keeps going. She never goes back for them.

He was cute ugly like the fella in your photo and he sure made some awesome noises calling for his mom.

9. Thanks for helping a wild creature
Years ago my cousin worked at an emergency animal clinic in San Francisco. When I visited her there I met their office pet, an opposum they named "Johnny O". He had been brought in as a baby by someone who found him in the middle of a road in Golden Gate park. When I held him his strong prehensile tail wrapped around my arm.
Here's a photo of an opposum my dog found up in a small tree in our back yard-

12. they are ugly cute
and the noises they make are so weird. the one I saved was put with a liter with others his age. the lady that runs the place has hundreds of possums, this years early spring back to a freeze and then spring again lead to a bunch of confused pregnant critters.

13. I just happen to know the right people
the lady that runs the wildlife group here has had great success with possums, she can get a peanut sized one and hand fed it until it is ready to be in the wild. She is the awesome one.

:hi:
