But it looks like something that might have played well in the south in 1970, not 2009. They are trying to appeal to all people to shop in their store. Blacks and whites are welcome. I noticed the commercial is for a store located in North Carolina. Maybe race relations haven't evolved as quickly there as they have elsewhere.
