Trying to figure out an overall GPA |
|
Ok, let's say you have a 3.867. You are going to get a C. How far will your GPA decrease?
Note, this is cumulative, not for the semester. Have taken about 150 credits.

If cb = the number of credits before the course was taken and ca = the number of credits that this course is worth, then the new GPA should be: (cb * 3.867 + ca * 2)/(cb + ca) So, using cb = 150 and ca = 3 (assuming it was a three-credit course), I get GPA = 3.83.

Yes, it's a 3 credit course. This means I'll graduate Summa Cum Laude on Friday. w00t.
Thanks! :hi:
And don't ask why I got a C. It was a f'd up situation, and not really my fault.

2. How many credit hours is the C class |
|
Edited on Tue May-26-09 01:05 PM by Juche
I'm going to assume 3 credit hours
150*3.867=580.05
580.05+6.0=586.05
586.05/(150+3)=3.83 CGPA
Not much really.
