On A.I. - Adam Lambert was the underdog, no way does he beat a good ole boy

I know this is a week old, but I was on vacation for week, & wanted to comment on this story...(rule: when on vacation, never go on internet, unless it's presidential election year to keep up w/latest polls, lol)....

Anyway, if you think about it, Adam Lambert had no shot against Kris Allen....On A.I., southern contestants usually win...There was no way a rocker from San Diego was going to beat Kris....I wanted Adam to win, thought he was easily the most talented contestant this season...

The American Idol "general election" is almost always won by the southern contestants...

1. it's the teen fangirls who are making hundreds, even thousands of votes per person

who determine the outcome, sadly... also thie year there was an effort to "get out the vote" for Kris Allen to "protect Christian values" (Danny Gokey's pastor was quoted as saying that. So there was a massive effort to vote against Adam Lambert as the winner.

2. Another reason why I can't stand AI

If they could create a voting system of "One Person - One Vote" perhaps I'd buy a bit more into the whole system. But you have to suspect there's alot of hard work out there of stacking the votes and I'm sure there are people who phone in dozens of time in order to favor their candidate.
